Primarchs

The Primarchs are superhuman generals created using the genetic material of the Emperor of Man at the end of the Age of Strife and before the Great Crusade. Each Primarch was the progenitor of one of the twenty original Space Marine Legions. The fate of two Primarchs is unknown; of the 18 we know of, nine turned traitor during the Horus Heresy and nine remained loyal.

Of the loyalist Primarchs, all nine are either killed, incapacitated or missing. Of the traitor Primarchs, at least two are dead and six are doing well as Daemon Princes.
