The ork Gorgutz makes his entrance.

Basically another tutorial mission for the Orks, you have to get Gorgutz and his forces through the map.

Walkthrough

  • You start with only Gorgutz. Move along the map pathway using Grippin' Claw to cross gaps. You quickly get some infantry squads as you go. Gorgutz is quite tough, so put him in front as you go absorbing as much firepower as possible as you get attacked by light infantry.
  • You will come to a section with a bolter turret that can do heavy damage to your infantry, but there is Stealth Cover nearby. Move your units through the stealth cover to cross safely, then have Gorgutz claw up to the upper platform to destroy the gate lock, then destroy the remaining infantry in the keep courtyard
  • You will start being able to build a base, and will be walked through a POC capture, generator construction, building construction and using Scrap pulled down from a Waagh tower to upgrade a squad.
  • Once the base tutorial is over, you will need to explore the main map as you see fit to collect key scrap pieces to build a big gun for Gitstompa. There is only one route you can take starting to the northwest, and you are restricted to Boyz and Shoota Boyz, but this is enough; a couple of Boyz for forward defense and a large set of Shoota Boyz will be able to do serious damage to everything you come across, and make sure to upgrade them with Scrap from your Waagh towers first. You will not yet be able to build any vehicles or structures from Scrap as your building set is restricted, and all Scrap-builds require a key building to be allowed.
  • Keep fighting through the light forces as you go; House Varlock guards are very weak compared to your units so there is little threat. Periodically you will also find a door lock that will open a shortcut to your main base for reinforcements.
  • Once you eventually get to the good bitz you will construct the Big Gun, but you have to defend it from Eldar attacks. You will have to fire it several times to push it back to your base. Once you do, you win.
