	Fast-moving melee unit that can close quickly to attack weaker ranged units or overwhelm enemies in large numbers. Can be upgraded with Adrenal Glands, which increase combat effectiveness. Hormagaunts (Gauntii gladius in High Gothic) are small Tyranid close combat creatures. They rely on speed and numbers to overwhelm the enemy. Benefits from synapse auras of the Hive Tyrant, Warrior Brood and Zoanthrope.
