The Chaos Dreadnought is the Chaos equivalent of a Space Marine Dreadnought walker, a mobile sarcophagus with a Chaos Space Marine sealed within. Unlike the Space Marine variant – greatly honored tombs for exceptional warriors – the Astartes placed in Chaos Dreadnoughts are generally enclosed against their will, possibly as punishment, and tend to go insane.

• Starts as a ranged variant, although it does good melee damage as well
• Can be upgraded into a more powerful ranged variant, or into a full melee variant
• Less health than Space Marine Dreadnoughts, but the melee upgrade grants similar health and the Blood Rage ability grants high damage resistance
