Well, there are the Warlocks of the Seer Council, but I don't know if they'd count. They do seem to lead Guardian squads at least...

I honestly hope the Tau Empire gets fleshed out in future games, codexes, etc. They seem like the "super cool next generation" race, considering that they're pretty flipping powerful and have such a well-made belief that they have at least 5 or so allied races (including humans!). If they aren't expanded upon, I'd be sooo sad. Just think of the new armour and weapons they could create. Will the Tau create more unique and effective types of Stealth Battlesuits? Will the Tau begin mass producing XV22s? Will they consider XV9s effective enough to use? How many other races will serve alongside the Tau in battle? (Hehe, imagine the Orks allying with them :D Not like that will ever happen :(

Actually, that reminds me; I wonder why the Vespid haven't really been touched upon. They also fight alongside the Tau at regular occasions, yet we hardly know their origins, culture... all that jazz.
