Commander
Force Commander | Commander Unit (Primary). Boosts morale recovery when attached to squads. Ability upgrades provide attack and morale bonuses for troops. Can use Orbital Bombardment (requires Orbital Relay building). Effective against Infantry, Heavy Infantry and Daemons. Excels at close combat. |
Librarian | Commander Unit (Secondary). Boosts morale recovery when attached to squads. Psychic unit with many powerful abilities focused on weakening enemy resolve. Detects infiltrated units. |
Chaplain | Commander Unit. Has a devastating melee attack. Dramatically increases the regeneration rate of surrounding units. Can issue a shout that demoralizes and slows enemy units. Effective against Infantry and Heavy Infantry. |
Infantry
Servitor | Builder unit. Constructs all Space Marine buildings. |
Scout Marine Squad | Scouting units. Weak at first, can be upgraded to infiltrate. |
Space Marine Squad | Resilient general combat unit strong at range and close combat. Broad range of weapon upgrades. Can be upgraded to be strong against most unit types. |
Assault Marine Squad | Flying around the battlefield, they bring death to the enemies of Mankind with the roar of the Chainsword. |
Skull Probe | Attachable detector unit. |
Grey Knights | Melee anti-infantry unique squad. Particulary effective against all daemons. |
Apothecary | Attachable healer, mediocre at fighting. 4 Apothecaries max allowed. |
Terminator Squad | Ranged anti-infantry elite, equipped with teleporters. |
Assault Terminator Squad | Anti-infantry melee elite, equipped with teleporters. |
Vehicles
Rhino | Unarmed transport vehicle. It can cover infantry with smoke, reducing damage taken. 3 Rhino maximum. |
Land Speeder | Fast yet fragile anti-infantry vehicle. |
Dreadnought | Powerful walker. Can be built at Orbital Relay in order to be deep-strike. |
Hellfire Dreadnought | Unique walker in the game : uses ranged weapons and doesn't fight in close combat. Can be built in Orbital Relay in order to be deep-strike. |
Land Speeder Tempest | Aircraft, can be upgraded to better anti-infantry or anti-vehicle. 5 Land Speeder Tempests max allowed. |
Predator | Anti-infantry tank, each weapon can be replaced into an anti-vehicle weapon. 2 Predators max allowed. |
Whirlwind | Artillery tank, effective for causing damage to infantry and disrupting it. Only one Whirlwind max allowed. |
Land Raider | Ultimate (relic) unit of the Space Marines. A very heavy transporter, well-armed against all targets. |

Heavy Bolter Turret | Stationary defense | Effective against infantry, can be replaced with anti-vehicle turrets. |
Orbital Relay | Stationary defense | Provides Space Marines with very powerful abilities. Can deep strike Space Marines and Dreadnoughts into battle. |
Stronghold - HQ, produces servitors, scouts, and Space Marine Chaplin.
Chapel-Barracks - infantry units: Force commander, space marien, assault marines, grey knights, terminator squads.

Plasma Generator
Armory - Contains research to improve infantry squads and sergeants.
Machine Cult - Vehicle bay
Sacred Artifact - Creates Apothecaries and the Librarian, and contains research to improve the Force Commander, Chaplain, and Librarian.
Thermo Plasma Generator
Mine Field - Mines that explode when enemies pass over them, can be detected by commanders.
